Founded in 2021 by Britt, a passionate one-woman operation based in Belgium, House of Bones started as an online store and has grown into a full boutique in Antwerp — the alternative fashion destination for the rock, gothic, punk, metal, and emo community across Belgium and the Netherlands.
Britt built House of Bones out of frustration. Alternative fashion in Belgium meant scouring the internet, waiting weeks, and settling for whatever niche corner of a mainstream store had to offer. She wanted a place that truly understood the culture — not just the aesthetic.
What We Stand For
At House of Bones, alternative fashion is not a trend — it's a lifestyle. We curate rock, punk, gothic, metal, grunge, and emo clothing and accessories that reflect real self-expression. Our collection features trusted brands like Banned, King Kerosin, Queen Kerosin, Brandit, Official Band Merch, Brandi, ... as well as limited-edition pieces from local designers. From band merchandise and alternative footwear to gothic jewellery and statement accessories — every piece is chosen because it belongs in your wardrobe, not because an algorithm said so.
We also care about how we do business. Our shipping uses recyclable cardboard packaging, and we buy in small quantities to reduce waste. Being part of a counterculture means questioning the system — including the fashion industry.

We also open every first Sunday of the month from 12-17.
